Come diving with us! Fun days, dive trips and charters

We want to keep you diving...

Once you've learnt to dive, you'll no doubt want to keep it up. However, many people are unsure where to dive or have trouble finding a regular dive buddy. Don't let that stop you! We run regular dives with guides available and can always organise buddies.
(Plus, our social club events are also a great place to meet more divers and find regular dive buddies!)

Here are just some ways we can get you in the water:

Regular fun days, dive charters, dive trips, midweek dives, dive courses

Regular Fun days

Our fun days are regular day (or sometimes weekend) trips to South Australian dive sites. We choose sites that are suitable for scuba divers of all levels and there are always Divemasters and/or SCUBA intstructors on hand to assist new divers or to introduce experienced divers to unfamiliar sites. We also put on a barbeque and organise other fun activities for the day. If there is no fun day scheduled for a weekend you are interested in, please ask! Our Divemasters are always happy to go for a dive, and to guide or buddy with other divers, regadless of whether they are new or highly experienced! Additionally, if you are a scuba diver looking for regular buddies, we can help by putting you in contact with other divers with similar interests.

Dive charters

Boat dives are a fantastic way to dive and the only way to visit some of the best local and Fleurieu peninsula dive sites. Boat dives run every weekend (weather permitting) and weekday charters are also available on demand, subject to minimum numbers. We offer regular dive charters to the ex-HMAS Hobart, Rapid Bay Jetty, Lassiters Reef, Carrickalinga (drift dive), AV Ulonga and various sites in Yankalilla Bay as well as Adelaide metropolitan sites. Check the calendar for scheduled dives or ask us about making up your own scuba diving charter!

Boat Dive Prices:

Double boat dive* (eg Double Hobart or Hobart/Rapid): $100 per person
Double boat dive* including 2 tanks and weights: $145.00 per person
Double boat dive* including full dive kit: $175 per person
*add $20 for all Ulonga and Aldinga charters.

To secure your booking we require the following information:
Divers Name:
Divers Certification:
Number of logged dives to date:
Date of your last dive:
Have you dived the Hobart before?

We also require credit card details to secure your position, but request that you phone us with these rather than emailing them. Your credit card will not be charged until the charter has run, and will be shredded immediately after.

Please note that we have a 48 hour cancellation policy, or the full price will be charged.

All divers must have a valid Hobart Dive Permit. Please complete your permit online here and bring it with you on the day of your dive. Please also email a copy of your permit confirmation to us. Permits are valid for 12 months, and we will keep it on board Alladin.

Charters run subject to minimum numbers and weather conditions. We ask all divers booked onto a charter to phone us at 4pm the day prior to the charter to confirm weather conditions.

Dive trips and travel

Why not take your scuba diving firther afield? As well as day and weekend fun day trips, we also organise a range of dive travel, from local and interstate trips to overseas dive holidays. For those seeking warmer water we offer trips to tropical destinations such as Thailand, Cocos (Keeling) & Christmas Islands, Vanuatu and more. We also offer trips for tech and wreck divers, eg to Truk lagoon to visit the sunken Japanese warships. Closer to home we offer trips to dive the caverns and sinkholes of Mt Gambier (note: CDAA training required for most sites), to Yorke peninsula and to Whyalla to see the annual cuttelfish breeding phenomonen. We always offer trips with options for divers of all experience levels.

Midweek dives

Weekends don't suit everyone so we run midweek dives every second Wednesday. These are either shore dives at local sites or local boat dives so you only need to morning free to join us!

Scuba diving courses

Another way to keep diving is to further your dive education. Whether you want to improve your scuba diving skills, learn more about the aquatic environment or learn a particular type of diving, we have courses to suit you.
