PADI Nitrox Course, 17th March

Increase your safety & Extend your Dive Time with Enriched Air Nitrox.

The primary benefit of using Enriched Air Nitrox is that it exposes you to less nitrogen. This has the advantages of longer allowable bottom times, making it safer for you as there is less need to push the air ‘no decompression limits’.

In short, using Nitrox means you have less exposure to nitrogen during your dive, and less nitrogen build up over multiple dives.

Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

During the course you will learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations.

You’ll also:
– Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
– Practice analysing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
– Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.

Equipment Recommended:
Personal Dive Computer. It is recommended at this level of diving that you own your own equipment.
