Here is a handy diving accessory, a divers writing slate with underwater compass attached!
A dive compass is a waterproof instrument used by divers to navigate above water, on the surface, and at depth. It determines direction by means of a free-rotating, magnetised needle that points towards magnetic north.
Having the compass attached to the slate enables the diver to easily hold the compass steady and level while navigating. This is absolutely necessary for accurate reading.
This compass features an easy to read face, sturdy bezel, and double red lubber line.
The underwater writing slate comes with a replaceable lead pencil. It also has a quick release lanyard and clip, so you can easily detach from your BCD when required. You can write messages to your dive buddy, and navigate at the same time.
This is an all-round useful piece of dive kit.
