The Perdix 3 features significantly improved Bluetooth wireless connectivity, with Shearwater stating connectivity is six times faster than the Perdix 2.

User-Replaceable AA Battery
One of the great advantages of the Perdix platform remains its simple single AA user-replaceable battery.
Battery life varies depending on the battery chemistry used, with the supplied specifications indicating up to approximately 60 hours with a 1.5V lithium AA battery.
