Pre-requisites: PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent

The PADI Deep Diver Course will teach you the techniques that make recreational deep diving safe and fun. The course will expand your diving knowledge about deep diving limits, deep diving equipment, deep diving techniques, nitrogen narcosis, decompression sickness and other topics.

Once you have completed the deep diver course you will be qualified to dive to a maximum of 40m. This rating is required for diving on any site over 30m deep.

Deep diver training is also a good stepping off point for going into more technical diving.

Course cost $645

Includes theory session(s) plus boat dives.

Your training dives will be completed on the exHMAS Hobart.

At this level of diving it is normal to own your own equipment. Some SCUBA equipment can be hired (wetsuit, BCD, Regulators, Tanks) if you do not yet own your own, or we can guide you in your choice of dive gear, with 10% Discount off RRP for all purchases.

Personal equipment items required include your own Mask, Snorkel, Boots, Fins, SMB, dive light, Slate, and Cutting device.
